The Role

We are hiring an Engineering Manager to own LiquiState’s payments infrastructure end-to-end. This role exists to ensure that money moves through LiquiState reliably, securely, compliantly, and at scale.

You will lead the engineering team responsible for designing and maintaining both on-chain and off-chain payment flows, while also setting the technical standards that keep the platform stable and trusted as transaction volume grows. You will operate as both a technical architect and a people leader, guiding the evolution of LiquiState’s financial infrastructure.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• owning the architecture and delivery of LiquiState’s core
• Designing and maintaining smart-contract settlement logic for rent, yield, redemptions, and ownership transfers.
• Managing fiat and stablecoin payment integrations and on-ramp/off-ramp partners.
• building and maintaining vault distribution and internal treasury movement systems.
• Ensuring high system uptime, reliability, and production-grade monitoring.
• Defining and enforcing transaction security standards and fraud-prevention practices.
• Leading scalability planning for high-volume payment flows.
• Working closely with product, legal, and compliance teams to meet regulatory and internal risk requirements.
• Owning the payments roadmap and long-term technical direction.
• Reviewing backend architecture and smart-contract designs.
• Establishing engineering standards around testing, monitoring, deployment, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling production financial systems in fintech, crypto, or regulated financial services.
• Strong backend engineering background with experience across both Web2 and Web3 stacks.
• Deep understanding of stablecoin payment rails, fiat on-ramps and off-ramps, and settlement systems.
• Hands-on experience designing and reviewing smart contracts for financial flows.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams.
• Solid grasp of security best practices for handling funds, keys, and sensitive financial operations.
• Familiarity with compliance-heavy environments, including KYC, AML, KYT, and transaction monitoring.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Comfortable owning mission-critical systems with real financial risk and uptime requirements.

• Experience working in regulated fintech, banking, or payments infrastructure.
• Prior ownership of high-volume transaction systems.
• Familiarity with property, real-world asset, or asset-backed finance platforms.
